MicroLED

An emerging emissive display using microscopic LEDs; promises OLED contrast with no burn-in and extreme brightness.

MicroLED builds each pixel from microscopic LEDs that emit their own light, like OLED but without organic materials — so no burn-in and potentially higher brightness and longevity.

Still very expensive and mostly limited to TVs/smartwatches. It is the long-term successor to OLED and Mini-LED.
