DeviceBenchmark operates as an independent technical device database and benchmark comparison platform. We believe technical benchmarking tools should be fast, transparent, and respectful of user privacy.
- No Cross-Site Ad Tracking: We do not load invasive third-party ad retargeting networks.
- No Personal Data Sale: We never sell, rent, or trade your email, search queries, or device data.
- Server-Side Rendering (SSR): Your searches and comparisons do not require third-party cloud analytics scripts to function.

3. Advertising & Third-Party Partners

Advertising scripts are loaded asynchronously and only when you see an Advertisement badge on a slot. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any advertiser.
4. Server Logs & Data Retention
Web Server Access Logs: Like all web servers, our infrastructure temporarily logs IP addresses, User-Agent strings, and requested URLs for security diagnostic purposes, rate limiting, and DDoS mitigation. Access logs are automatically rotated and purged after a maximum retention window of 14 days.
Newsletter Subscriptions: If you subscribe to our benchmark digest, your email address is stored securely and used exclusively to send requested hardware updates. You can unsubscribe instantly via the one-click unsubscribe link in any message.
5. User Rights Under GDPR & CCPA
Regardless of your geographic location, DeviceBenchmark extends full data sovereignty rights:
- Right to Access: You can request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
- Right to Erasure (“Right to be Forgotten”): You can request complete deletion of your newsletter email or submitted messages.
